This owl could be sitting on this branch right outside my window, with his pink gold body and yellow gold wings and tail, his deep red garnet eyes. This cheeky owl was hand crafted in Birmingham, England in 1966. The brooch measures 55 mm long and 15 mm high and weighs 3.9 grams. Fully hallmarked with ‘9’ and ‘.375’ for the gold content and date codes and also the makers mark of ‘C&F’.
