Victorian Tourmaline, Persian Turquoise, and Diamond Pendant, England, c. 1890

$ 2,325.00

A jewel that feels like it was plucked from a fairy tale, this late Victorian pendant captures the essence of romance and color. At its heart is a vibrant fuchsia-pink tourmaline, its oval facets glowing with a fiery intensity, framed by four dreamy Persian turquoise cabochons in an enchanting celestial design. The glitter of rose-cut diamonds encircling the gems adds just the right touch of brilliance, creating a piece as elegant as it is unique.

The pendant is crafted in a harmonious mix of 15-karat gold for the frame and silver for the diamond settings, a signature technique of its era. The tourmaline weighs approximately 3.4 carats, measuring 10.1 x 8.2 x 6 mm, while the turquoise cabochons are each 5.5 mm across. The 34 rose-cut diamonds range from 1.5–2.5 mm, bringing a delicate sparkle. Measuring 38 mm north to south and 25 mm across, this pendant weighs 9.54 grams. It was made in England around 1890, a true testament to Victorian artistry.

A masterpiece of color and design, this pendant is perfect for anyone who dreams of carrying a little magic from the past into their present. Chain shown for display purposes and not included.
