Victorian Silver Oval Mizpah Locket Pendant

MIZPAH, the romantic biblical phrase expressing safe return while being apart, was embossed on the front of her locket. After a year, he returned unharmed, and happy to be back to her, his sweetheart.

This antique silver locket was handcrafted around 1880. The front of this piece is embossed with the word, “MIZPAH”. Inside this oval locket are two frames lined in turquoise fabric. Overall, this piece measures 48 x 32 x 9 mm and it weighs 21.3 grams.
