The opal in this ring is a fabulous swirl of color, rich blues and greens kissed with orange fire, it measures 4.2 mm across and 2.5 mm deep, the halo of ten old European cut diamonds each measure about 2 mm across. Overall, the ring measures 9 mm north to south and 8.5 mm across at the face, sitting gracefully 6 mm off the finger and narrowing to a delicate 2.1 mm at the back of the band. It is a size 4.5 and weighs a light 2.3 grams.
