Antique Edwardian Large Peridot 15k Gold Pendant

Did you know that Peridot is commonly found in meteorites? Its yellow-green color does seem to have an otherworldly hue, doesn’t it? It’s note likely this particular gem is otherworldly, after all it’s found naturally on earth as well!
This fantastic Edwardian pendant was hand crafted in England in about 1905. It has fantastic swirling whiplash designs and large, juicy, apple green peridot gems. The top gem is step cut and measures 8x7.5x4.1 mm and weighs approximately 1.88 carats, the teardrop at the bottom is 9x5x3.8 and weighs about 1.02 carats. Overall this fabulous pendant measures 47 mm from top to bottom including the bale and 25.6 mm across, it weighs 5.6 grams. This lovely pendant is marked to the reverse with ’15 ct’ for the 15 karat gold it’s made of.
