Antique Arts & Crafts Citrine, Topaz & Marcasite Necklace

This fantastic Arts & Crafts necklace is the personification of that perfect fall day. You know the one, the one where the sun shines bright and the sky pops blue and the woods you walk through are kissed with orange and red and yellow and brown and the wind picks up the leaves and twirls them in cyclones as they fall from the sky. Yup, that day, with its autumnal colors and sparkling gems, this necklace was made for that day, and lots of other days as well.

Hand crafted in England in about 1910, this necklace was the height of fashion in Art & Crafts loving, Edwardian England, and it still reaches those heights today. Set with an array of brown, yellow and orange sparkling citrines and two oval peachy topaz gems, this necklace has a phenomenal play of color; add in the 95 sparking marcasites and this one becomes a sheer dazzler. The necklace is 16.5 inches around and weighs 20.7 grams.
