This late Art Deco Grand Damme of a ring has style in spades. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a true cocktail ring. Slip it on and grab yourself a seat at the bar, order a Manhattan or and Old Fashioned and hook a heel over the barstool rail.
This ring was hand made around 1935 of 18 karat white gold and is set with emeralds and diamonds in a modified buckle design. The large diamond weighs approximately 1 carat, it is a lovely Old European cut stone. A further 6 single cut diamonds are set on the other side, these are about .26 carats total. The center buckle is set with 6 step cut, bright green Brazilian emeralds. This ring measures 14.8 mm north to south and 21.6 mm across, it narrows to 6.4 mm at the back of the band. This size 7 ring weighs 3.2 grams.
This ring comes with a full appraisal done by an independent GIA Master Gemologist with antique appraising credentials. The replacement value is $14,685, please request a copy if you’d like to see it.
