This fantastic Victorian bug brooch is full of charm. It is set with a wonderfully juicy moonstone in its body that weighs about 11 carats. Its center is made up of a cushion cut citrine of a rich golden hue that weighs about 2.67 carats. The brooch is done in 15 karat gold and the critters eyes are set with 2mm rubies.

This stylish, hand crafted beauty dates to about 1870, and comes from England. The overall dimensions are 43 mm from tip to tail and 19.2 mm across at the widest point. It is unmarked and has been carefully tested to determine the gold content. Weighs 8.2 grams.
