What is it Lee and Joe and Bobby say? “Clean shirt, new shoes…silk suit, black tie”? You know it’s true don’t you? You know that every girl is crazy about a sharped dressed man?
A ring like this one won’t get you all the way to sharply dressed, but then the devil is in the details isn’t it, and the details most definitely include a ring very much like this one. Hand crafted in America in about 1915 by the New York firm Larter and Sons, this ring is manly chuck of 14 karat gold carved with an intricate intaglio of a knight holding a shield with a stork or crane, another riding atop his helm while plumage flows around him in a decidedly Art Nouveau fashion.
Unlike some signet rings which are very small, this one is a very wearable size 7.75 and measures 17.3 mm north to south and 12.5 mm across, it narrows to 4.3 mm at the back of the band and weighs a hefty 15.2 grams.
