Antique 3-Stone Diamond Garnet Ring, 18k Gold, London 1875

A ring that speaks in whispers of candlelit evenings and love letters sealed with wax. At its heart, an old mine-cut diamond glows with the soft fire of a bygone era, its facets catching the light as though reflecting the flicker of gas-lit streetlamps on a damp London night. Handcrafted in 18k gold and fully hallmarked for London, 1875, this ring bears the crown, ‘18,’ the leopard’s head, and the date letter ‘u,’ along with a maker’s mark, ‘GB.’ The central old mine-cut diamond measures approximately 3.6 x 3.5 x 3 mm, weighing an estimated 0.24 carats. The two garnets, each approximately 3.4 x 2.6 mm, have a combined weight of about 0.54 carats. The ring itself weighs 4 grams and measures 5.5 mm at its widest, with a 2.2 mm band. Currently a size 7.25 US.
