Surrounding this majestic centerpiece are moonstones, delicate blue chalcedony stones, and mother of pearl. Crafted in about 1925 during what’s referred to as the second Arts and Crafts era in England, in the period between the wars, Amy Sandheim's creation transcends mere jewelry, showing as it does all the usual characteristics of her work, including complex open silver-work fashioned as a ring of flowers further detailed with little silver balls and complete with the original ornate hand-made chain which adds to the authenticity of this impressive looking pendant. This pendant is 85 mm north to south and 75 mm wide, the chain measures 20 inches in total and the piece weighs 51.8 grams. This piece is only marked ’Sterling’ for sterling silver.
