Antique Silver Gilt and Paste Iberian Earrings

These late 19th century earrings were likely made in the Iberian peninsula. Hand crafted in gilded silver and set with bright red pastes, these beautiful danglers have wonderful movement when worn. They have screw backs but could be converted to posts on request. The bow and flower design is typical for earrings from this period and place.

These large and lovely earrings measure 59.5 mm north to south and 25.7 mm across, together they weigh 7.3 grams. Unmarked but carefully tested as silver.
