Vintage White Gold Filigree Round Faceted Bezel Set Blue Zircon Brooch

This vintage white gold filigree brooch is set with a large and very sparkly natural blue zircon. The stone measures 8.4x8.3x5.4 mm and weighs approximately 4.5 carats. Blue Zircon is a natural stone that is on the softer side and tends to abrade very easily. This stone is in very nice condition for a zircon, it shows slight wear to the facets under 10x magnification. The brooch measures 17.4 mm north to south and 44.8 mm across, it is marked with ‘DIANA’, and with 14k-W. This American made brooch was produced by Krementz & Co in about 1920. Weighs 3.7 grams.
