Sterling Silver Victorian Buckle Bangle Bracelet

I find that I like to wear these bangles as they would have been worn at the time they were made. In England, in the 1880's, a woman would wear a bangle (or two) like this one at the cuff, over the blouse, in lieu of a cufflink, one on each wrist. To this day this look is surpassingly modern, always sophisticated and a little sexy to boot!

This is a substantial hand crafted bangle, measuring 24 mm wide and weighing 36 grams. Hand crafted in the Victorian era, it has a buckle motif that is quite striking, both classic and lovely. This bangle has no hallmarks but has been tested as sterling silver.
